Job summary

Qualifications

  • All candidates must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security or related field is required.
  • Security+ certification must be obtainable and Navy Qualified Validator certification must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

  • Drive security planning, assessment, and risk management strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive system security monitoring and auditing.
  • Lead A&A processes for GSS and MA systems.
  • Prepare and review Authorization Packages (SSP, SAR, POAM, GCP).
  • Collaborate with System Administrators to develop policy documentation for NIST controls.
  • Apply security engineering across design, lifecycle, and cross-domain solutions.
  • Serve as security engineering representative on cross-functional teams.
