Job summary

Novalink Solutions LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Administrator contractor in Denver to provide specialized network and security administration for state agencies, focusing on firewall management, compliance, and modernization.

You will review FSRs, perform changes, decommission and refresh EOL hardware, and maintain configurations on Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring IRS/FBI/CJI alignment and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls; strong networking fundamentals.
• Experience managing firewall policies, VPNs, and security controls.
• Ability to implement security controls and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs) and change requests.
• Decommission and refresh End-of-Life hardware on a schedule.
• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls.
• Maintain security configurations to stay aligned with IRS, FBI, and CJIS standards.
