Job summary

E IT is seeking a senior cybersecurity operations professional in New York to lead and optimize NOC/SOC functions. You will define maturity models, drive automation, and establish KPIs to measure security performance.

The role focuses on threat assurance, adversary emulation, and supporting intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity operations experience.
• 5+ years in a SOC environment.
• Big Four consulting experience within an information security practice.
• 5+ years of experience in threat detection and vulnerability management across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess control coverage and develop baseline maturity models focused on NOC and SOC operations.
• Drive automation and process optimization.
• Establish KPIs and operational metrics.
• Develop threat assurance and adversary emulation programs.
• Support threat intelligence, detection engineering, incident response, and containment.
• Manage vulnerabilities and exposure across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on asset inventory and attack surface mapping.
