Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management engineer to help shape security across our cloud-first platform. You will design and implement IAM strategies, partner with product and engineering teams, and drive performance improvements while ensuring scalable security controls.

You will work with AWS, GCP, Azure and open-source tools, applying MITRE, CIS and NIST frameworks. Candidates should have 4+ years in identity tech and a proven ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in technology or identity engineering.
• 3+ years in security, identity architecture and design.
• 2+ years with open-source frameworks preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud services.
• Extensive experience with identity products and protocols (Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
• Deep skills in privileged access management tools and services.
• Experience in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Strong knowledge of IAM security tools and services (IGA, PAM, JIT, ITDR, NHI, EPM).
• Knowledge of MITRE, CIS, NIST frameworks.
• Fluency with Python or Go.
• Experience with multiple IaaS platforms from top-tier providers.
• Experience communicating to senior and junior staff and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience in multi-platform environments (Linux, Mac, Windows).

• Demonstrated fluency and specialization with at least one modern language such as Python or Go
• Experience with multiple IaaS platforms from top tier providers
• Experience communicating and presenting to senior and junior staff with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Experience in a multi-platform environment with Linux, Mac, Windows.
