Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support security across multiple task orders under the DOMEX Technology Platform for NMEC. This onsite role in Bethesda, MD focuses on building and sustaining secure systems in on-premises infrastructure, with emphasis on lifecycle security, authorization support, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with six years of field experience, or three additional years in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II certs: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP, or CASP+ CE.

Responsibilities

• Support secure architecture, design, and implementation of DoD systems per DoDI 8510.01 and NIST SP 800-53.
• Lead integration of RMF activities into the SDLC, including security control implementation and validation.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, SARs, risk assessments, and POA&Ms.
