Job description

WGS Systems, LLC, is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual specializing in Cyber Security
and Incident Responses.

The qualified candidate must be capable of performing Cyber Security mitigations and Incident
Response tasks. The candidate will work alongside the resident System and Network Administrator for
identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities. The candidate will be working in an environment that
requires security clearance and a working knowledge of Defense Security Services (DSS) requirements.

The candidate must have experience in the following areas:

• Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems
• Microsoft Azure and O365 suite
• NIST 800-171 compliance experience
• Risk Management Framework experience with classified processing systems
• Knowledge of network protocols and services: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, QoS, etc.
• Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages desired but not required

The responsibilities for this position will include:

• Analyzes, reports, and responds to detected cyber threats and incidents.
• Maintains system cybersecurity monitoring operations.
• Uses cybersecurity tools to proactively search for threats to systems or networks.
• Conducts network defense analysis and provides recommendations for improvements.
• Develops and maintains thorough, up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats and incident
  response best practices.
• Collaborates with peers and stakeholders to establish and ensure consistent response practices
  and prioritize security events.
• Maintain company compliance with the NIST standards and CMMC Level 2
• Maintain company compliance with Risk Management Framework
• Able to possess a TS clearance
• Active TS or higher clearance preferred

Qualified candidates must have:

• BS in Cyber Security or related field or equivalent experience

Work environment:

• Work will be performed in an office environment
• A majority of the work will be performed in Frederick, Maryland, with work in other locations in
  the greater Baltimore, Maryland/Washington, D.C. as required
