Job summary

ManTech is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in Chantilly, VA. The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI clearance and a DoD 8570 IAT-II certification, with experience in cybersecurity, SIEM, and threat detection.

You will support security software/hardware, analyze incidents, and generate technical reports. The candidate will engage in threat hunting, monitor security controls, and advise leadership on risk, while collaborating across teams to maintain system integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Experience with SIEM, network security tools, log analysis, incident detection, analysis and response.
• DoD 8570 IAT-II certification required.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and ability to work independently or in a team with Splunk knowledge.

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field. This experience can include a combination of professional roles, internships, lab work, or coursework. You should have experience with one or more of the following: SIEM systems, network security tools, log analysis tools, cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies, operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies. A DoD 8570 IAT-II certification is also required.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of system vulnerability analysis and security testing, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively. We value candidates who can multitask, work both independently and as part of a team, handle pressure, and have experience with Splunk SPL searches and dashboarding.

Responsibilities
