Aquent is partnering with a leading financial services organization to secure AI initiatives and enable responsible AI deployment across the enterprise.

The Cyber Security Analyst will drive governance and controls for AI usage, collaborate with technology and risk teams, and support audits and regulatory examinations while staying ahead of emerging AI threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• 5+ years in Technology Operations or Security Operations, with at least 1 year on AI/ML systems.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and security implications.
• Familiarity with financial industry regulations and risk frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms, data governance, and secure SDLC practices.

Responsabilités

• Assist in remediation, monitoring, and improvement of AI usage aligned with governance to mitigate AI risks.
• Collaborate with technology, security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure secure AI adoption and policy alignment.
• Ensure adherence to AI security standards and regulatory expectations, tracking remediation and managing exceptions.
• Support AI security risk assessments, audits, and evidence collection as needed.
• Keep up to date with AI threats and best practices to address future security challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the remediation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI usage, aligning with governance processes designed to mitigate AI‑related risks.
• Partner closely with technology, security, risk, and compliance teams to champion secure AI adoption and ensure strict alignment with established security requirements and industry standards.
• Support unwavering adherence to AI security standards, policies, control requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations, including meticulous tracking of remediation efforts and supporting exception management processes.
• Provide critical support for AI security risk assessments, audits, regulatory examinations, and evidence collection activities as needed.
• Stay relentlessly current with emerging AI threats, cutting‑edge technologies, and evolving best practices to proactively address future challenges.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Technology Operations or Security Operations, with at least 1 year specifically focused on AI/ML systems.
• A strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, technology governance principles, and their inherent security implications.
• Familiarity with financial industry regulations and established risk frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, robust data governance practices, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration and strategic problem‑solving.
