Job summary

Amoha Recruitment Services LLP is seeking an entry to junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support guardrail security operations across client engagements. You will monitor alerts, analyze logs, assist with vulnerability remediation, and participate in incident response activities.

Ideal candidates have 0-3 years of cybersecurity experience, a solid IT/networking foundation, and familiarity with SIEM and cloud security. This role offers onsite/hybrid/remote opportunities depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related field.
• 0-3 years of professional or internship cybersecurity experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with vulnerabilities, threats, authentication, encryption, incident response.
• Basic knowledge of security monitoring and SIEM concepts.
• Understanding of common security frameworks and practices.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

What You'll Do (Typical Responsibilities Across Client Engagements)

• Support identity and access management (IAM), authentication, and access-control processes
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance-related activities
• Follow security best practices and organizational policies to protect systems and data
• Collaborate with IT, cloud, software development, and infrastructure teams on security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a closely related field
• 0-3 years of professional, internship, academic, or hands-on cybersecurity experience
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and firewalls
• Understanding of operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including vulnerabilities, threats, authentication, encryption, and incident response
• Basic knowledge of security monitoring and SIEM concepts
• Understanding of common security frameworks and practices
• Experience with Git and collaborative technical workflows is a plus
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
