Leidos is seeking an early to mid-career Cyber Security Specialist to support Lackland AFB security posture in San Antonio, TX. You will help maintain RMF artifacts and assist with ATO activities. Cyber Security Specialist Location: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX Company: Leidos Clearance Required: Active Top Secret / SCI Join the Leidos Team At Leidos, you'll have the opportunity to support critical national security missions while growing your cybersecurity career alongside experienced professionals. We are seeking a early career to mid level Cyber Security Specialist to support cybersecurity operations at Lackland AFB, helping maintain the security and compliance of Air Force and Department of Defense information systems. In this role, you will assist with cybersecurity compliance activities, support Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts, participate in Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, and help ensure systems remain compliant with Air Force and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4-6 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Additional relevant experience and industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, or RMF-related activities within a DoD environment.
• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification at the IAT Level II or higher (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with RMF processes and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Experience working with eMASS, XACTA, or similar cybersecurity compliance tools.
• Understanding of DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Air Force or DoD programs.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with vulnerability management and security assessment activities.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CAP, or CISM.
• Exposure to Air Force ISR missions or classified environments.
• Completion of applicable DoD or Air Force cybersecurity training requirements.
