Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Administrator to support a critical task order focused on enhanced domain awareness. The role involves managing security compliance, ATO processes, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and incident response within cloud and hybrid environments.

The position requires experience with DoD frameworks, RBAC, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel, AWS Security Hub), and secure configurations across GovCloud, Azure, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of equivalent experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Experience implementing security controls for cloud infrastructure and DoD security frameworks.
• Experience managing security configurations, penetration testing, and SIEM solutions (Microsoft Sentinel, AWS Security Hub).
• Risk assessments, continuous security monitoring, and mitigation in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Administer RBAC and enforce least-privilege access for mission-critical apps.
• ATO lifecycle docs: SSP, SAR, POA&M; coordination with DoD cybersecurity officials.

The role involves managing security compliance, Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and incident response within cloud and hybrid environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure documentation of ATO, security compliance, ATO management, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
• Implement and manage security controls, risk assessments, and compliance measures across GovCloud-hosted environments, including Azure and AWS.
• Apply knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and IL-4/IL-5 security mandates.
• Utilize experience in security information and event management (SIEM), role-based access control (RBAC), vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
• Employ expertise in cloud-native security tools, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Manage the Authority to Operate (ATO) process including documentation, submission, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Demonstrate successful completion and maintenance of ATOs for programs or capabilities within DoD or federal environments. Required Qualifications
