Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Sales Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor across the full sales lifecycle. You will partner with customers, sales, and delivery teams to design and implement tailored solutions that address objectives and promote adoption and value realization.

The role requires 5+ years in sales/solutions engineering for DoD/IC, hands-on with complex tech, and the ability to travel up to 25%. A Top Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or systems engineering role supporting DoW or IC customers
• 3+ years of experience working with complex technical solutions, COTS products, OEM products, or phased prototyping in the DoW or IC space
• Experience creating and driving engagement-based approaches to acquisition, including whitespace growth and cross-selling capabilities
• Experience owning or supporting annual sales quotas and growing customer adoption through enterprise agreements or consumption-based offerings
• Experience engaging with key client stakeholders to discuss capabilities and services on large projects; driving program of record creation and large vehicle work
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Cyber Sales Engineer

The Opportunity: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the full sales lifecycle by partnering with customers to understand their technical needs, collaborating closely with sales and delivery teams to design and implement tailored solutions that align with customer objectives, address their challenges, ensure successful adoption, and promote long-term value realization. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or systems engineering role supporting DoW or IC customers
• 3+ years of experience working with complex technical solutions, COTS products, OEM products, or phased prototyping in the DoW or IC space
• Experience creating and driving engagement-based approaches to acquisition, including driving whitespace growth and cross-selling capabilities and solutions into adjacent markets
• Experience owning or supporting annual sales quotas and growing customer adoption through enterprise agreements or consumption-based offerings
• Experience engaging with key client stakeholders to discuss company capabilities and services on several large-scale projects, including driving program of record creation and driving large acquisition vehicle work
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Top Secret clearance

• Experience developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
