The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University seeks a technical manager for the Cyber Risk Management (CRM) Team within CERT’s Cyber Risk & Resilience Directorate in Pittsburgh. Qualifications

  • BS in risk management, cybersecurity, information systems, economics or a related technical field; advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Total of ten (10) years of experience as an enterprise risk executive or related role.
  • Experience with risk quantification tools, frameworks/model standards of practice, and risk governance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance (DoW).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sustained applied research and technical agenda for the CRM Team.
  • Communicate technical vision, develop tasking, and create project work statements and budgets.
  • Interact with USG and DoW clients and stakeholders with high professionalism.
  • Supervise staff and ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
