Job summary

Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation seeks a Cyber Audit and Assurance Analyst to enhance control posture through monitoring, evidence collection, and improvement recommendations. You will support audits and collaborate with CISO, cyber security, IT risk, compliance, and audit teams to strengthen governance.

Role requires up to two years in cyber security, risk, compliance, or IT operations, plus knowledge of NIST and ITGC concepts. Hybrid work from Jersey City, NJ with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cyber security, information systems, accounting, risk management, business, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of cyber security controls and GRC concepts; familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, CIS Controls, COBIT or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of IT general control processes like change management and vulnerability management.
• Ability to document processes, evaluate control design and operation, maintain evidence, identify exceptions, and track remediation with guidance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create a methodology for monitoring adherence to cyber security and IT general controls with support from Cyber Security and IT team members.
• Perform control monitoring according to the method chosen.
• Recommend and implement improvements to controls and monitoring practices.
• Provide evidence of control implementation to leadership and audit.
• Engage with the audit team to streamline the audit process.
• Automate or improve the evidence collection process.
