Baker Tilly is seeking a Risk Advisory Cyber Risk Services Intern to join our fast-growing advisory and risk team in Washington, DC. You will gain hands-on experience, participate in orientation and technical training, and learn from seasoned professionals across governance, IT risk and cybersecurity practices.

This internship offers on-the-job training, exposure to client engagements, and a potential path to a full-time consultant role within Baker Tilly.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student during the current school year in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Technology, or related business or management degree
• A resume and unofficial transcript(s) are required as part of the application process
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer‑sponsored visa sponsorship, now or in the future
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship
• Outstanding academic performance required, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
• Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization desired
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
• Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in risk advisory working full time
• Participate in our intern orientation, technical training and development program designed to provide the tools needed to contribute to client engagements
• Experience on‑the‑job training through real work engagements, showcasing how your academic experience translates to the professional environment
• Learn directly from experienced associates, seniors, managers and partners with specialized experience and technical knowledge across numerous industries and services
• Build friendships and strong work relationships while gaining valuable experience
• Demonstrate your performance and ability to join Baker Tilly as a full‑time consultant
