Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a Cyber Range Event Systems Engineer to support DoD-range deployments at Eglin AFB. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years of work experience, or a Master's degree with related experience
• Active security clearance (Top Secret/SCI) required
• Ability to apply comprehensive technical knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
• Ability to plan and execute major technology assignments and evaluate performance
• Ability to work with others and independently
• Proficiency in systems administration and IT concepts
• Strong writing and communication skills for manuals, reports and procedures

Responsibilities

• Support medium to large system deployments, including planning, designing, evaluating software options, selecting OS and protocols
• Design, implement and troubleshoot system networking (routing, switching, VPN)
• Perform independent analysis to meet management and mission objectives
• Advise on optimal designs within constraints (cost, schedule, quality)
• Collaborate with site users to deploy and integrate solutions and document changes
• Analyze projects to enhance technical and economic development of products
• Resolve technical problems to enable advanced engineering and cost reduction
• Brief senior management and customers on technical matters and studies
• Configure internal systems and customer tools in mixed environments
• Monitor system performance, ensure availability and capacity planning
• Adhere to configuration/change management policies
• Assist in selecting and implementing security tools and DoD-endpoint tools
• Liaise with vendors/IT for fielded environments
• Work in classified/unclassified environments to support government goals
