Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an analyst to support the team's cyber product policy work: the usage policy language, help-center and enforcement guidance, and launch policy notes that say what Anthropic permits and prohibits for cyber-relevant use, kept consistent with the constitution and our access tiers.

You'll analyze the constitution and usage policies to check that enforcement matches them, work with the threat intelligence and enforcement teams to make sure our safety standards are met, and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to write clear policy analysis.
• Familiarity with enforcement of usage policies or cybersecurity policy frameworks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical security material.
• Ability to work across teams and communicate clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cyber product policy artifacts and ensure consistency with constitutional and access tiers.
• Analyze constitution and cyber policies to verify enforcement aligns with policy text and maintain a gap log.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence and enforcement teams to uphold safety standards.
• Coordinate cyber policy inputs to model releases and regulatory requirements with senior leadership.
• Support access-requirements policy and consolidation of controlled-access framework.
• Translate technical evaluation into policy guidance and engage with technical teams on probes/classifiers.
• Draft inputs for reporting to partners and regulators.
• Ensure policy commitments align with shifting industry and regulatory standards.
• Engage with technical teams to understand capabilities relevant to access policy.
