This role blends senior individual-contributor depth with people management, delivering durable operating systems and advancing safety through analytics, calibrated judgment, and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity or related fields with 4+ years leading teams.
• Built and scaled cyber operations, cyber intelligence, or abuse-prevention capabilities.
• Designed and launched human-in-the-loop automation or evaluation systems.
• Strong cyber judgment and ability to reason about attacker behavior and threats.
• Led programs, workflows, and vendor/BPO initiatives translating strategy into execution.
• Analytical, turning operational data into priorities and measurable improvements.
• Self-starter who creates structure in ambiguous environments.
• Able to influence across orgs, coach others, and align stakeholders.
• Executive presence and crisp, senior-leader level communication.
• Customer-service acumen balancing safety with high-quality user experience.
• Translate cyber and policy judgment into reviewer SOPs, decision trees, and training.
• Exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive material.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for Cyber Operations and define operating models and SOPs.
• Serve as senior cybersecurity and cyber intelligence expert for high-risk decisions.
• Build trust, clarity, and alignment across teams and partners.
• Turn policy ambiguity into clear decision rules, calibration, and training.
• Scale reviewer capability through onboarding, coaching, and calibration.
• Own operational health including queue coverage, productivity, and SLA adherence.
• Use analysis and automation to diagnose root causes and reduce manual effort.
• Build durable quality and evaluation systems to improve decision quality.
• Create new capabilities from 0→1 and scale them with structured execution.
• Present recommendations and strategy to executives and partners.
