Job summary

The National Security Agency is seeking networking professionals to design, develop, deploy, sustain and monitor state-of-the-art network solutions across WAN, CAN, LAN, DCN and satellite networks. Candidates should have a degree in a related field and relevant certifications or military training.

Entry/developmental roles are available with multiple paths, including associate degree plus experience or a bachelor’s degree with no experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, CS, IT or related field.
• Military training in networking/IT topics counted toward experience.
• Experience in network/system administration, analytics, testing and vulnerability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, sustain and monitor state‑of‑the‑art network solutions.
• Collaborate across organizations to support WAN, CAN, LAN, DCN and satellite networks.
• Apply international standards and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, VOIP).
