Job summary

The National Security Agency invites IT and cyber professionals to join Tailored Access Operations (TAO) and Cybersecurity missions. We have multiple openings for Cyber Network Professionals focusing on penetration testing, defensive operations, and identifying cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications include entry/developmental paths with a bachelor’s degree and variable experience, or full-performance levels with higher degrees and more experience.

Qualifications

• Entry path: BA/BS with no experience; or AS with 2+ years in relevant cyber fields.
• Military coursework in networking/CS/cyber plus 2+ years experience may apply.
• Full performance: BA/BS with 3+ years; MS with 1 year; PhD with 0; or AS with 5 years.
• TAO Apprentice Operator cert +3 years also considered.

Qualifications: ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL Entry is with a Bachelors degree and no experience. The following may also be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position: an Associates degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 2 years of relevant experience; or successful completion of TAO-specific technical fundamentals training plus 2 years of relevant experience. FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a Bachelors degree plus 3 years of relevant experience; a Masters degree plus 1 year of relevant experience; a Doctorate degree and no experience. The following may also be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position: an Associates degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 5 years of relevant experience; or successful completion of TAO Apprentice Operator certification plus 3 years of relevant experience.
