Job summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seeks a Special Agent to protect the nation from cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and evolving risks. The role blends investigative work with national security responsibilities across U.S. field offices.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with a bachelor’s degree or higher, relevant experience, and eligibility for Top-Secret SCI clearance. You will plan and conduct investigations, coordinate with partners, carry a firearm, and maintain peak fitness.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• One year of full-time sworn law enforcement work experience with a degree, or two years of work experience with a bachelor’s and one year with a master’s/doctorate.
• Be eligible for a Top-Secret SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws.
• Coordinate and participate in searches, seizures, and arrests.
• Carry a firearm and be willing to use force, including deadly force.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform duties.
