Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Security Consultant to help client IT and business executives understand governance, risk, and compliance, and to define roadmaps to achieve security objectives.

The role requires DoD/DOW mission experience, cybersecurity certifications such as DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level II (e.g., Security+), and the ability to work with executive teams on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certifications such as DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level II.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, and SOX.
• Experience with DoD/DoW mission practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and assessments to identify security governance, risk, and compliance issues.
• Define business drivers and create tactical and strategic roadmaps to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with CISO/BISO to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support clients in meeting auditing and regulatory requirements.
