Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking an IT Specialist (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) to support US Military Treatment Facilities under DHA in Quantico, VA. This onsite federal role focuses on troubleshooting complex IT issues, information assurance, and compliance for mission-focused healthcare operations.

The position offers a full-time, permanent appointment with a GS 12 pay scale and a salary range of $102,415 to $133,142 per year, including locality pay. Eligibility for Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• US citizens only
• Secret clearance eligibility and suitability checks
• DoD 8140.03 baseline qualifications; IAT Level II acceptable
• DoD Cyber Workforce designation per DoDM 8140.03
• One year of specialized IT experience including policy development, diagnosing complex IT issues and maintaining IA compliance
• Competencies required: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving

Responsibilities

• Track, diagnose, and resolve complex IT issues using enterprise management software.
• Identify IT problems from reports and collaboration with users.
• Develop automation approaches and perform required steps.
• Provide guidance for communications and office automation.
• Support planning for implementing new operating applications.
• Serve as a point of contact between the MTF Activity and vendors for bulletins and system updates.
• Identify training needs and arrange development.
• Coordinate training aligned with DoD 8570/8140 requirements.
• Ensure systems stay updated with latest fixes.
