TaskUs is seeking a Cyber Investigator to join a frontline cyber investigations pod supporting frontier AI research. You will triage flagged telemetry, evaluate high-risk prompts, and apply policy-aligned labels to case work to train safety classifiers.

Expect ownership of escalations, OSINT research, and collaboration with Senior and Principal investigators in a remote-capable setup. Eligible candidates are based in the United States with Texas residency preferred and can expect a salary range

Competenze

• 1-3 years of practical experience in SOC analysis, DFIR, threat intelligence, or OSINT investigations.
• Understanding of Attack Lifecycles and MITRE ATT&CK matrix; basic network/system internals.
• Analytical documentation: concise English summaries under timelines.
• Investigative mindset with attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Location: United States with Texas residency preferred.

• Queue Review & Triage: investigate automated system flags across priority threat categories.
• Dual-Use Evaluation: determine benign security research vs policy violations with rationale.
• Ground-Truth Labeling: apply precise labels to cases to test safety filters.
• Adversary Mapping: map prompts and tools to MITRE ATT&CK tactics/techniques.
• OSINT & Context Enrichment: conduct OSINT for indicators, tooling, and infrastructure.
