Job summary

Leidos is seeking a high‑caliber intelligence professional to support the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) operations in Odenton, MD. The role focuses on 24/7 collection, analysis, and coordination across DoD networks with regular interaction with USCYBERCOM and partner agencies.

The candidate will supervise intelligence collection, oversee all-source support to CPTs and inspections, and enhance threat understanding with OSINT research. A TS/SCI clearance and IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4-8 years of prior relevant education and experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
• DoDD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (SEC+, CySA, GICSD, etc.)
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Windows 7/8/10/11.
• Ability to work in a virtual environment like Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise intelligence collection on events inside and outside DoD networks.
• Oversee all-source intelligence support to DCDC operations, CPT missions, CCRIs, and CCORIs.
• Enhance situational awareness, identify relationships, trends, and adversary TTPs based on threat intelligence information.
• Direct and develop open-source intelligence research for threat discovery or research.
• Research, analyze, corroborate, and assess vulnerability information for intelligence reporting.
• Analyze and track vulnerability disclosure program (VDP) incidents for intelligence reporting.
• Ensure DCDC information provided to foreign entities complies with federal statutes and restrictions.

Description

This position will support GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07), which provides support to the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC), formerly JFHQ-DODIN. DCDC provides network operations and defensive cyber operations support to the United States Cyber Command in support of the DoD. The selected candidate shall provide analysis that provides 24 hours per day x 7 days per week x 365 days per year support DCDC Operations Center, providing command, control, and defensive cyber operations (DCO) functions across the Combatant Commands, Service Cyber Components, Agencies, and Field Activities in addition to 24/7 coordination with USCYBERCOM and other partner agencies. The shift currently available is Monday-Thursday 2100-0700.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise the collection of intelligence on events occurring both internal and external to Department of Defense networks.
• Oversee all-source intelligence support to DCDC operations, Cyber Protection Team (CPT) defensive missions, Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs), and Command Cyber Operational Readiness Inspection (CCORIs).
• Enhance situational awareness, situational understanding, and identify possible relationships, trends, and adversary TTPs based on threat intelligence information.
• Direct and develop the process of open-source intelligence research in support of threat discovery or research.
• Research, analyze, corroborate, and assess vulnerability information as it relates to intelligence reporting.
• Analyze and track vulnerability disclosure program (VDP) incidents as it relates to intelligence reporting.
• Ensure DCDC information provided to foreign entities is compliant with federal statutes and restrictions.

Basic Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
• Experience in intelligence driven defense and/or cyber kill chain methodology.

Pay Range

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
