Job summary

HRB is seeking a Cyber Instructor to support the Brighton Certification Track for government and military personnel. The ideal candidate will bring offensive cybersecurity expertise, virtualization experience, and strong instructional skills.

This role requires Active Secret Clearance, prior SOF experience, and certifications (Security+, OSCP, VCP). You will deliver instructor-led training, revise curricula, mentor students, and support exercises.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Cyber Instructor to support advanced cyber training initiatives for government and military personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong offensive cybersecurity expertise, virtualization experience, and deep knowledge of networking and systems administration within SOF or operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led cyber training and hands-on technical instruction.

• Coordinate curriculum revisions and continuous improvement efforts for cyber training materials, labs, and exercises.

• Instruct students on cybersecurity concepts, networking, virtualization, and offensive security techniques.

• Support operational exercises and practical cyber scenarios.

• Evaluate student performance and provide technical mentorship.

• Collaborate with leadership to improve courseware and training effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.

• Prior SOF experience.

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.

• Proficiency in:

  • Networking fundamentals

  • Network protocols

  • Systems and network administration

• Strong communication and instructional skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military cyber operations experience.

• Experience supporting DoD cyber training programs.

• Additional cybersecurity certifications preferred.

• Experience with virtualized training environments and enterprise infrastructure.
