Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is hiring a Cyber / Info Security Analyst in Washington, DC, supporting PAE Maritime PMS 377. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and experience in RMF, eMASS, and data analytics.

You will develop dashboards, maintain metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities while ensuring accurate RMF documentation and secure system designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of proven experience as an ISSE or ISSM.
• Experience with Data Analysis and cybersecurity tools.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF efforts and automation initiatives.

• Ensure RMF documentation reflects cybersecurity requirements in system designs.

Wanted: A mission driven candidate with an active secret clearance to be our next Cyber / Info Security Analyst in supporting PAE Maritime PMS 377 in Washington, DC,

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity data automation initiatives, Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts, and sustainment data
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate cybersecurity information to stakeholders.
• Develop data models and layouts to support data mining and research
• Utilize Microsoft Tools to include Power BI, SharePoint, Visio, and in support of Data Automation and RMF
• Perform analysis of data to reduce digital footprint and provide recommendations for data reuse
• Analyze data and depict details and summaries as metrics, statistics, charts, and graphs
• Manage a portfolio of systems as Program ISSM working with geographically separated support personnel
• Maintain metrics and documentation for systems in the portfolio
• Perform in-depth reviews of system eMASS packages for accuracy and quality
• Ensure that cybersecurity controls and updates are accurately reflected and maintained in RMF documentation.
• Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into system designs and implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the documentation and management of cybersecurity measures within the RMF and eMASS frameworks.
• Support sustainment data analysis to identify and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities in existing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of proven experience as an ISSE or ISSM
• Experience with Data Analysis and tools with focus in cybersecurity and system integration
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (applicants without required minimum clearance will not be considered)
• CISSP Certification is a plus
• CGRC Certification (formerly CAP) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites of Tools: Power BI, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office
• Familiar with data visualization i.e., example: Power BI, Share Point
• Proficient with RMF Framework and processes
• Proficient in eMASS
• Strong knowledge of policies related to Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Basic familiarity with cyber related systems: VRAM, DITPR-DON, and similar systems
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and MBSE methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with AI integration
• Knowledge of cloud-based security
• Knowledge of software defined networks
• Knowledge of software containerization

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
