Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Cyber Industrial Controls Intern to join the Enterprise Cybersecurity Department. This internship offers hands-on experience protecting OT and ICS within a world-class scientific research environment.

This onsite 9x80 schedule in Idaho Falls provides opportunities to work with cybersecurity professionals, support cyber defense activities, and gain exposure to industrial control systems and critical infrastructure protection.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT).
• Current resume or CV on file.
• Unofficial transcripts (include current and completed degree programs).
• Current class schedule and credits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safeguarding OT/ICS and support cybersecurity efforts within INL operations.
• Collaborate with Operational Technology Lead and cybersecurity professionals to strengthen defenses.
• Contribute to projects enhancing security and resilience of industrial control systems.
