Nightwing Group is seeking a Cyber Host Forensic Analyst II to support a U.S. Government client in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on onsite incident response, forensic analysis, and documenting findings to drive remediation.

The candidate will collect and analyze digital evidence, correlate data with network activity, and draft comprehensive reports while following chain of custody procedures. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of directly relevant cyber forensic investigations.
• Ability to create forensically sound duplicates of evidence (images).
• Experience with cyber attack analysis and proper evidence handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Acquire/collect computer artifacts from systems during onsite engagements.
• Correlate forensic findings with network events to build intrusion narratives.
• Produce forensic write-ups and contribute to reports.
• Imaging and documenting system state information as needed.
