Job summary

Integer Technologies seeks a Cyber Engineering Manager to lead a 3- to 4-person team conducting advanced R&D on cyber-physical systems for Navy platforms. The role provides technical direction for multi-year Navy-funded research in cyber-physical modeling, dynamic defense, embedded security, and AI/ML detection tools.

You will guide collaboration with LSU, manage schedules, and support transition of new tech to Navy environments.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
  • Experience leading cyberphysical systems research including modeling, simulation, and dynamic cyber defense design.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-based anomaly detection, embedded systems security, memory forensics, fuzzing, and binary analysis.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and multi-phase R&D programs with complex deliverables.
  • Ability to design and supervise cyberphysical experiments in lab and field settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for customers and sponsors.

Integer Technologies seeks aCyber Engineering Managerto lead a3to4 personteam conducting advanced research and development on cyberphysical systems relevant to Navy ashore and afloat platforms. This role provides technical direction for multipleyearNavyfunded research involvingcyber ‑ physicalmodeling, dynamic cyber defense design, embedded systems security, and AI/MLenabled detection tools. The Cyber Engineering Manager will oversee technical execution, guide LSU collaboration, manage project schedules and deliverables, and support transition ofnew technologiesinto Navy environments. This role requires bothhands ‑ onR&Dexpertiseand strong engineering management capabilities across complex,multi ‑ phaseresearch programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team performing cyberphysical system modeling, cyber risk analysis, dynamic cyber defense research, and feasibility studiesfor Navyrelevant systems.
  • Direct research into AI/MLbased anomaly detection methods for embedded systems, including Bayesian,graph based, and adversarial approaches.
  • Manage integration of universitydriven research, includingmemory forensics, fuzzing, and binary analysis techniques,into embedded system security workflows.
  • Oversee design and execution of benchscale experiments, digital modeling environments, and controlled field demonstrations tovalidatecyberphysical resilience approaches.
  • Provide engineeringleadership andmanagement including technical direction, scheduling, deliverable tracking, documentation quality, CUI data security, and coordination with external sponsors and research collaborators.
  • Lead technology transition planning, operator training sessions, and collaboration with Navy and industry partners to scalecyberphysicalresilience solutions into operational systems.
  • Contribute to business development by shaping new research directions, developing technical proposal content, and cultivating relationships with government sponsors.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain andmaintaina DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 yearsofrelevant experience, oramaster'sdegree and5yearsofexperience, in cybersecurity, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience leadingcyberphysicalsystems research involving modeling, simulation, cyber risk assessment, and dynamic cyber defense design.
  • Backgroundwithstate-of-the-artcybersecurity approaches, includingAI/MLbased anomaly detection, embedded systems security, memory forensics, fuzzing, andbinary analysis.
  • Experience managing engineering teams andmulti-phaseR&D programs with complex deliverables.
  • Ability to design andsuperviseexecution oflaboratory and fieldbased cyberphysical experiments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including documentation of complex technical findingsand ability to communicate clearly with new customers and government sponsors.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with cyber research for Navy or maritimeashore and afloat platforms.
