Job summary

Oceaneering International, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Engineer IV to apply cyber security fundamentals to protect data for underwater vehicles and support missions for U.S. Navy and DoD customers.

You will collaborate with Systems Engineering to deploy RMF and pursue Authority to Operate. The role requires a DoD background, strong judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to see the big picture.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security for DoD/DoW environments.
• Familiarity with RMF/ATO processes and accreditation workflows.
• Ability to interpret security requirements and apply them to underwater vehicle systems.

Job description

The Cyber Engineer IV applies working knowledge of cyber security fundamentals to ensure data security for underwater vehicles. The candidate guides engineering efforts across the Systems Engineering V to deploy intelligent Risk Management Frameworks (RMF) to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation. The ideal candidate will have cyber security experience in the Department of War (DoW) world. The candidate should possess a tenacious personality that displays excellent technical judgement, attention to detail, and ability to understand "the big picture".

OTECH produces and maintains unique underwater systems - typically for US Navy and other US Government Department of Defense customers. Our projects are all one-of-a-kind. Projects range from quick burn to lifecycle management of fielded systems. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who is an effective communicator with excellent critical thinking skills.
