Ford Motor Company is seeking a Cyber Defense Center Detection Analyst to perform initial threat triage and quick assessment of security incidents, determining severity and impact for prompt escalation.

The role is hybrid with on-site work in Southeast Michigan. Candidates must be willing to work at least one weekend per calendar quarter, with specific shift times during DST/EST weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• 2+ years of experience with SIEM tools and log review.
• 2+ years of customer service including escalations and incident handling.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial triage of security incidents to determine Ford relevance.
• Analyze incidents using SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, cloud and sandbox tools.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Document investigation details for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support Shift Lead rotation and keep up-to-date with evolving threats.
