Job summary

Megaport is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to support and strengthen security across Megaport's environment. In this role, you'll monitor security systems, investigate alerts, and respond to potential threats.

You'll work closely with our security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to identify, analyze, and contain incidents while improving the tools we use daily. You should be passionate about cybersecurity and thrive in a fast-moving, global environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient English required for global communication.
• Expertise in SIEM solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence, exploits, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud security tools and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of network security and secure SDLC practices.
• Certifications in security (e.g., Security+ or vendor certs) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize SIEM; develop threat intelligence and use-cases.
• Onboard data sources to the SIEM and correlate data across environments.
• Lead end-to-end incident investigations and containment strategies.
• Oversee vulnerability management; coordinate remediation with owners.
• Manage security solutions like EDR, ZTNA, and DLP.
• Propose practical security improvements and architectural guidance.
• Provide security expertise for new solutions and ongoing uplift.
• Deliver day-to-day security support across the business.
