Job summary

GDIT is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to join our world-class team supporting the ISR mission of the Air Force at Langley AFB, VA. You will monitor and defend a global enterprise, perform threat analysis, and guide remediation to protect mission operations.

This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, 4 on/3 off shifts, and DoD 8570 CySA/CYSA certifications. Expect collaborative work on DCGS PED operations and enterprise security monitoring on site at Beale AFB.

Qualifications

• Clearance: TS/SCI required.
• Shift Work (4 on/3 off).
• Minimum of three (3) years' of network and system security experience.
• Strong knowledge of ESS/HBSS.
• IAT Level II Security+ (CE) certification.
• Cyber Security Analysis (CySA) certification IAW DoD 8570.
• Location: On Customer Site.
• US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide near-real-time monitoring and analysis of insider and external threats utilizing network security tools and custom developed scripts IAW ICD 502.
• Perform near-real-time network security alerting and problem resolution.
• Prioritize remediation efforts using reliable threat intelligence.
• Monitor and protect the security of the DCGS from internal and external threats.
• Implement ICS 500-27 Enterprise Audit Conceptual Framework.
• Perform all functions of the CND Framework.
• Generate a complete list of auditable events for all user activity and process, format, filter, and share the data.
• Provide risk determination recommendations to the AO regarding ATO or ATT acceptance/rejection.
• Assess and report cyber readiness; analyze trends and report key findings.
