Job summary

Deloitte's Government & Public Services lines are seeking a PROJECT - Security Engineer II to join the Cyber Defense & Resilience team in Albuquerque, NM. You will collect intelligence, review systems for vulnerabilities, and support policy development to strengthen cyber and supply chain integrity across complex environments.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance and at least five years of experience in defense or cyber programs, with onsite work five days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance required.
  • Onsite five days a week in Albuquerque, NM.
  • Five+ years in security/defense, intelligence, or cyber domains.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence to support cyber defense and resilience activities.
  • Review systems, environments, and operations for vulnerabilities; assess data systems, networks, and security protocols.
  • Conduct intelligence-based SCRM and SCADA assessments across labs, plants, and sites.
  • Evaluate deployed security solutions against architecture; identify rogue systems and cyber manipulation risks.
  • Support cybersecurity policy development and implementation to strengthen cyber and supply chain integrity.

Work You'll Do

As a PROJECT - Security Engineer II on the Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence to support cyber defense and resilience activities
  • Reviewing systems, environments, and operational activities for vulnerabilities; assessing data systems, network architecture, and security protocols
  • Conducting intelligence-based supply chain risk management and supervisory control and data acquisition assessments
  • Evaluating deployed security solutions against documented architecture, identifying rogue systems, and assessing potential cyber manipulation across sites
  • Supporting cybersecurity policy development and implementation to strengthen cyber and supply chain integrity across complex environments

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Top Secret clearance require.
  • Onsite requirements 5 days a week in Albuquerque, NM
  • Minimum of five years plus experience in the following:
    • Supporting mission programs, materials acquisition, and nuclear enterprise assurance initiatives.
    • Collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence
    • Reviewing systems and activities for vulnerabilities
    • Validating data systems, network architecture, and security protocols; and conducting intelligence-based SCRM and SCADA assessments.
    • The role also identifies and mitigates security gaps, evaluates deployed security solutions against documented architecture, detects rogue systems, and assesses potential cyber manipulation across labs, plants, and sites.
Preferred
  • DOE Q clearance
  • 1 + years of experience supporting cybersecurity policy development and implementation to strengthen cyber and supply chain integrity across complex environments.
