Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division’s Fighters and Advanced Aircraft and Bombers Team is seeking a senior‑level System Cybersecurity Analyst to support the integration of communications, navigation, weapons delivery, and propulsion system modifications on world‑class Department of Defense/United States Air Force fighter and bomber aircraft. The analyst will lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes, develop, coordinate, and maintain documentation required for A&A packages to achieve Interim Approval to Test and Authority to Operate.

The analyst will also develop cybersecurity assessments supporting the Command’s Platform Information Technology system acquisition and/or modifications, and review supporting program documentation such as Information Support Plans, Concepts of Operation, System Requirements Documents, Initial Capabilities Documents, Program Protection Plans, and Capabilities Description Documents.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Experience in Department of Defense and/or United States Air Force acquisition programs and cybersecurity.
  • Experience conducting A&A activities under the DoD RMF.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of performing with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of aircraft communications, navigation, and related aviation information systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant experience: Cybersecurity‑related activities on a DoD system (preferably a U.S. Air Force aircraft system) or on a communications, navigation, or other aircraft system.
  • Secret‑level security clearance at the time of application, with the ability to obtain a TS‑level clearance.
  • Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, willing to learn new concepts and processes, and able to accept constructive criticism.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to produce quality products on time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Requirements

Cybersecurity‑related certifications.

Physical Requirements

Work in a typical office environment. Light lifting may be required. Building temperatures may fluctuate between hot and cold during seasonal transitions.
