Job summary

SFE in Irving, TX or Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Cyber Architect to define enterprise security architecture for cloud, data, and platform environments. You will shape patterns, guardrails, and governance around controls and telemetry.

Collaborate with SOC, risk, and platform teams to translate risk into actionable architecture, drive secure adoption of IAM, data protection, and cloud security controls, and produce strategy documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience defining enterprise cybersecurity architectures across cloud, data, and platform layers.
• Knowledge of telemetry, detection patterns, SOC integration, and risk management.
• Ability to translate security requirements into architecture guardrails for projects.
• Familiarity with enterprise security standards, compliance expectations, and regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication for technical and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise cybersecurity architecture and security patterns for cloud, platform, and data environments.
• Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments, and control gap analyses for business and technology initiatives.
• Design security detection, response, and telemetry patterns in collaboration with SOC, risk, and platform teams.
• Guide secure adoption of cloud, IAM, data protection, and platform security controls.
• Create architecture recommendations, remediation plans, and stakeholder-ready security strategy documentation.
• Review solution designs for cybersecurity risks and alignment with enterprise standards.
