Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Protocol Analyst to join our team in Maryland. You will analyze protocol data to determine traffic patterns, identify targets, and document malicious tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in support of national security objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong networking and protocol analysis experience, a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, and a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a physical science. Relocation is negotiable.

Protocol Analyst on our team, you will:

analyze protocol data to determine traffic patterns, analyze metadata in order to identify, locate, and track targets, and categorize/document malicious tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Requirements

• PROFORMA focus - Understanding signal characteristics to determine signal structure, define parameters, model signal behavior. Strong demonstrated performance with Networking and protocols is required. Seeking exp with RF signal analysis. COMINT, ELINT, FISINTY experience on top is a plus. (pref 1 or more of these specialties) - R&D flair, Weapons and space (AWCP T&E)
• Relevant experience must be in signals analysis, including protocol analysis, and preferably related to communication signals, network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and/or network security analysis.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Level 1 = 4 years’ experience, Level 2 = 7 years of experience, Level 3 = 10 Years of experience, Level 4 = 13 years of Experience (2 years off experience off for Bachelors, 4 years off for Masters, 6 years off for PhD)
• Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science or related field

Preferred Military Training:

• 451/461 (Intermediate Signals Analysis)
• 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis)
• Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)
