Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Glenview, IL, seeks a Scientist for CX Product Insights to support consumer experience learning plans and product research for assigned brands. You will help define information needs and execute fit‑for‑purpose research approaches to answer business questions from ideation through launch readiness.

You will synthesize learning into clear, actionable findings, partner with R&D, Marketing, Insights, Culinary, and external suppliers to translate consumer learning into product,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience (or Master’s with 1 year; PhD with no relevant experience) in consumer/product research or consumer experience roles supporting product development; CPG experience preferred.
  • Translation of consumer learning into actionable product/packaging guidance.
  • Foundational qualitative and quantitative research skills: study design, instrument development, synthesis, storytelling.
  • Familiarity with common research, survey/testing, and analysis platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

  • Support CX research for the assigned portfolio/projects.
  • Execute CX learning plans aligned to development milestones.
  • Ensure projects have clear CX direction and documentation.
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research with support from senior scientists.
  • Synthesize CX findings into actionable summaries for categories/brands.
  • Translate consumer needs into product/packaging experience targets and design criteria.
  • Prepare summaries with key findings and next steps for cross-functional discussions.
  • Manage external research suppliers: fieldwork coordination, timelines, quality checks.
  • Oversee multiple projects with prioritization and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and privacy requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Physical Science, Consumer Behavior/Psychology, Industrial Design, or Marketing with a strong consumer research focus
