The role involves conducting inspections at fabrication facilities and construction sites, ensuring compliance with NYC building codes. Candidates must possess CWI certification and preferably have NDT certifications. Qualifications

• CWI certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) is mandatory.
• NDT certifications including UT, MT and PT are preferred.
• ICC certifications for Structural Steel and Bolting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct welding inspections at fabrication facilities and construction sites.
• Review project plans and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and certifications.
• Communicate inspection results to project managers and clients.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
