Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking a CWDirect Warehouse Associate in North Platte, NE to keep the store stocked and assist customers with orders for food products. The role will involve warehouse duties, inventory oversight, and customer service within the CW Direct store, including freezer, cooler and dry areas.

The position is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6pm with alternating Saturdays (9am–1pm). You will oversee product flow, cycle counting, shelf stocking and checkout tasks, while keeping shelves neat

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalency is required.
• Ability to read orders and correctly pull product.
• Must be able to lift 50–80 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product and confirm quantities and paperwork.
• Record receipts in the system and place product in correct location.
• Cycle count products daily and stock shelves to keep product visibility.
• Scan items at register, handle voids/returns, and process payments.
• Assist customers in finding items and suggesting purchases.
• Maintain store cleanliness and correct product placement during slow periods.

CWDirect Warehouse Associate - North Platte, NE (Transportation)

If you want a job that keeps you busy and moving, then this is it! This position works within our CW Direct store where you will work to keep the store stocked with product and assist customers with their orders for primarily food product purchases.

Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:30am-6pm with alternating Saturdays; 9am-1pm

Summary:

This position will be a mixture of warehouse/inventory responsibilities as well as customer service / retail activities, but the major focus will be product-focused in terms of overseeing incoming product into the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory, and keeping shelves stocked. Must be comfortable working in the freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse storage areas.

Job Duties (generally listed in order of responsibility)

• Warehouse
  • Receive incoming product, includes confirming product/quantity matches paperwork
  • Record receipt/changes in the system
  • Place product in appropriate spot
• Cycle Counting & Shelf Stocking
  • Will do daily cycle counting of products and update results in the system for accurate listing of products
  • Primary person for stocking shelves
• Register
  • Quickly and accurately scan items for customer purchase
  • Correctly do voids and returns as needed
  • Process payments to include credit card and cash, and ensuring the correct amounts are entered and change given
  • May assist customers with carrying products to their car
• Customer Service
  • Help customers find requested items
  • Assist with ideas for purchases that fit their needs
• Other duties as necessary
  • Product Placement: During down times will ensure that products are in the correct location and front facing.
  • Store Cleanliness: During down times may sweep, pick up items, and generally ensure good store presentation

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalency
• Ability to read orders and correctly pull product
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 80 lbs
