Job summary

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping professional for a CONTRACT Shift (Wed–Sat, 7am–6pm with a 12–1 lunch). Qualifications

  • Perform cycle counts of GMP material inventory.
  • Ensure EH&S safety guidelines compliance.
  • Assist shipping of Final Bulk Drug Substance to contract filling sites.
  • Assist shipping of Clinical materials to outside sites as required.
  • Assist with other tasks as required.

BioMarin’s Technical Operations group is responsible for creating our drugs for use in clinical trials and for scaling production of those drugs for the commercial market. These engineers, technicians, scientists and support staff build and maintain BioMarin’s cutting‑edge manufacturing processes and sites, provide quality assurance and quality control to ensure we meet regulatory standards, and procure the needed goods and services to support manufacturing and coordinating the worldwide movement of our drugs to patients.

CONTRACT Shift is 4 days, 10 hours per day. Wednesday–Saturday 7 am to 6 pm with a 12 pm–1 pm lunch break.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and warehouse GMP raw materials, components and supplies per established SOPs.
  • Transport and distribute approved GMP raw materials, components and supplies to the designated manufacturing facilities.
  • Transport all GMP in‑process solutions to and from the designated manufacturing facilities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for approved GMP raw materials, components and supplies.
  • Perform cycle counts of approved GMP material inventory as assigned.
  • Compliance with EH&S safety guidelines, especially those directly related to the operation of warehousing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Assist with the shipping of Approved Final Bulk Drug Substance to contract filling sites.
  • Assist with the shipping of Clinical materials to outside sites as required.
  • Assist with other tasks as required.

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $15 to $30 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock‑based long‑term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
