Animal Eye Care of New England is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our ophthalmology referral practice in South Deerfield, MA. This full-time role involves assisting during exams and surgeries, anesthesia monitoring, client communication, and maintaining a streamlined clinical workflow.

The position offers a $28–$34/hour pay range, Tuesday–Friday day shifts with no nights or weekends, and a $1,500 signing bonus plus relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Current CVT qualification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of anesthesia experience required.
• Experience with ventilator use preferred.
• Strong technical and patient-monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Outgoing, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during ophthalmology appointments and surgical procedures.
• Preparing, monitoring, and caring for patients undergoing anesthesia.
• Communicating with clients regarding patient care and treatment.
• Humane patient restraint and handling.
• IV catheter placement and venipuncture.
