Job summary

Bevlab Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team in Posen, Illinois. In this role, you will provide top-notch veterinary care, educate pet owners, and collaborate with a supportive team. Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology, passed the VTNE, and a passion for animal care. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree).
• Passed the VTNE + active/eligible RVT license.
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
• Passion for patient care and client education is non-negotiable.
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday with one weekday off, plus rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Communicate medical information to pet owners clearly and compassionately.
• Implement and oversee prescribed treatments, including medication administration.
• Perform and support advanced diagnostic procedures.
• Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia.
• Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records.
• Mentor and provide guidance to veterinary assistants.
