Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital in North Texas is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 3x12 shift (7am–7pm). The role includes high-acuity vascular and minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery cases, with one RN and one tech per case.

A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates with 2+ years of OR RN experience. Relocation assistance is offered for eligible candidates relocating 50+ miles.

EXPERIENCE - 1+yr of OR RN Experience. Highly prefer an RN who scrubs (Cardiac or Vascular OR experience highly preferred).

Operating Room

Shift: 3 12's 7a- 7p

Patient Population: Vascular Surgery, minimally invasive Cardiovascular surgery.

Patient Ratios: 1 RN and 1 tech per case. High Acuity cases may have 2 RNs and 1 tech.

Number of Beds: 4 OR’s

Department Specifics: >95% of RNs have BSN, 60% are Specialty Certified. We have world renown surgeons, we use RNs to scrub, and we can teach you. Involved in the latest innovations, strong practice councils and opportunity for leadership advancement.

Call requirements: are one weeknight every week, one weekend every 6th weekend, and one holiday per year.
