Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. The CVOR RN will provide specialized care in the cardiovascular operating room, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during procedures. This 13-week assignment features 40 hours per week, days shifts, and travel compensation.

Requirements include 1 year CVOR RN experience, active RN license, and BLS. ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and procedure.
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants for the procedure.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and the team.
• Provide post-surgical care coordination and handoff to recovery.
