Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist in Columbus, OH for a 13-week contract. Shifts include day hours with 4x10s or 5x8s, no weekends, and limited on-call duties. Travel eligibility requires address distance from central facility. Hospital provides scrubs and locker.

• Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10 years experience as a Surgery Technician

• Must have strong cardiac experience including scrubbing hearts

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in decontamination post operatively.
• Experience scrubbing a variety of cases including CVOR; other service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma; department consists of 20 OR suites with average census ~50; hospital provides locker and scrubs.

Job Description:

• **Must have strong cardiac experience including scrubbing hearts for this role - please include experience in profile**
• Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility *** to be eligible to apply.

Job: Certified or non certified surgical techScheduling:

• Shift: 4x10's Days (6:45a - 5:15p) or 5x8s (6:45a - 3:15p) no weekends; every other holiday
• Call: Will take 1/3 of the call - discussed in interview
• RTO - Maximum of 5 days

Minimum Requirements (4019):

• 2 years of experience as a surgical tech

• The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively.
• Candidate must have experience scrubbing a variety of cases Including CVOR. Other service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma. Department consists of 20 OR suites and an average volume or census of approximately 50. Hospital will provide a locker and scrubs.
