Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVOR team in Tulsa, OK. The role involves scrubbing and circulating duties during complex cardiovascular surgeries, patient monitoring, and assisting with lines and intubation under the supervision of physicians and anesthesia.

You will prepare ORs and ensure equipment readiness for procedures. The position requires an RN license before hire, ACLS within 6 months, and BLS within 1 month, with a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure at hire.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire date.
• ACLS obtained within 6 months of hire date; BLS within 1 month of hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions and handle instruments used in complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including patient monitoring and nursing care during cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist operating physicians and anesthesia with access and management of lines and intubation.
• Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and equipment for use.
