Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse to join the Open Heart Surgery Department. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment and support a collaborative team.

The role requires active Florida RN licensure (compact acceptable), a nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and prior acute/cardiac care experience. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida Registered Nurse or compact license with FL requirements
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Experience in acute care or cardiac surgery settings preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for intra-operative cardiac patients
• Assist surgeons in operative procedures and maintain sterile technique
• Review and maintain patient records, including tests and results
• Administer medications per physician orders and ensure patient safety
