Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVOR within the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. This 40-hour-per-week position involves delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room environment, following ANA ethics and evidence-based practices.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent, active RN license, and BLS certification, with experience in clinical nursing in the CVOR preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides services.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care needs.
